You can change this to JPEG or TIFF before exporting. The default image export format for Resolve is a DPX file, which isn't very useful for most still image applications.
Make sure you're exporting it in an image format you can use. Just to check things, you are saying MP4 H.264 encodes are failing on Fu 9.0.1 on Windows ? And you are having issues encoding a 3840x2160px movie to the MP4 H.264 video codec right? Does anyone have any idea why this could be?
